Hello I s started making these two years ago for the boating community. I trialed it with seven boats in the marina that I live in.
We have been using the same one for two years they don’t burn away you just put it in the pot and leave it there. Many boaters with diesel stoves are now using it. They save buying firelighters or methylated spirits or using paper and leave the pot a lot cleaner for a lot longer.
Easy to use just turn the diesel stove on get a little bit of diesel in the bottom of the pot and the igniter will soak it up turn it over and then light it then put the stove back together.
A lot of the narrow boaters have their stoves going 24 hours a day but they still use them on the build up to winter when the days and warmer and after winter in the spring when it’s still cool at night saves diesel and they don’t forget to buy firelighters because it’s permanently in the pot any questions you can just email me
